What does this mean for us?

Have you discovered an item in our online shop that isn't always made from organic cotton or recycled plastic? And why are we a bit more expensive than other retailers?

Well, for us, sustainability doesn't always just mean the materials something is made of, but also many other aspects that are part of a product's lifecycle. These include, for example, the conditions under which raw materials are sourced and our products are manufactured. Longevity and durability also play a major role. We make sure to only offer items that you can use for a long time. You've probably heard the saying: "Buy cheap, buy twice!"

Print on demand:

To minimize storage capacity, we opted for print-on-demand. This means that the products are only printed or embroidered with the desired design once we receive your order. This ensures that we don't have to keep an unnecessary number of items in stock, in all designs and, if possible, in all sizes.

Returns processing:

Returns are often complicated and costly. If you don't like an item or you had a different idea for it, you can of course return it within 30 days.

We try to illustrate our products as clearly as possible with images. If a description isn't sufficient for you or you need additional images or information, please feel free to contact us at info@gilas-life.com and we'll be happy to answer your questions.

We do all this to avoid as many returns as possible, as this saves duplicate shipping.

If a return cannot be avoided, you can find the link to the returns portal in the description of the item you wish to return.

We charge €3.00 for each item. Why do we do this? Unlike other providers, we don't simply throw the item away because it's cheaper than storing it in storage. After successfully inspecting the returned item for damage, we store it and reship it with the next order, completely undamaged, fresh, and packaged in an environmentally friendly manner. We regularly offer damaged items for sale at special prices or donate usable products to organizations that can use them.

This saves resources.

If you still want to buy exclusively organic cotton clothing, look for the organic symbol in the advertisements. These are characterized by the high proportion of organic cotton and recycled polyester.
